Gunsmith
The Buffalo Trading Company houses a full service gunsmith with a complete machine shop. Gunsmith, Dave Morrison was a long time apprentice with the late George Hanna, a Findlay smith well known to Ohio shooters for both his skill and his amiability. Dave works hard to live up to his mentor’s memory. Dave’s experience in general and custom gunsmithing can help you repair your field gun or family heirloom. From a basic cleaning to a complete rebuild, contact us for your gunsmith needs.
His specialties include shortening stocks, adding recoil pads, mechanical repair, working on and fitting 1911 style hand guns, general trouble shooting, scope/mount installation and bore-sighting, and refinishing services.
Most estimates are completed within a few days of receipt of your gun. We will notify you by phone as to the cost of the work. If you choose to have the work done, there is no charge for the estimate. If you do not have the work done, the cost is $45.00 which includes handling and insurance. The turn around time varies depending on the type of work needing to be done and parts needed to complete the job. This time frame can also be influenced by other work orders, but Dave wants your gun in your hands as soon as it can be completed.
The Buffalo Trading Company is proud to offer you the opportunity to meet and work with Dave Morrison, Gunsmith.
