COLT LATE 3RD MODEL DRAGOON 44

Colt Second Model Dragoon, 44 caliber 7 1/2" barrel, brass grip frame, one piece grip, Entire piece has no finish and has gone to a uniform patina. Cylinder revolves, but cylinder dog does not lock the cylinder when indexed. Produced in 1851 with single line address. Serial numberes match on barrel, frame, grip brame and backstrap and is sill visible on he cylinder. One piece grip has been refinshed at some time.
